TREE REMOVAL & STUMP GRINDING

Sometimes, there is no other option but to remove a tree. This can be because the tree is hazardous or dangerous, the space it was planted in is too small, or a number of other reasons. We have the experience, knowledge, and equipment to handle almost any tree removal. When the removal is complete, we can grind the stump, so the area can become usable again immediately.

TREE PRUNING

Nearly all trees need to be pruned for various reasons, such as to reduce risk of failure, promote human safety, raise the height to allow for safe passage on roads and sidewalks, provide building clearance, increase sun penetration to the ground for turf or flower beds, maintain tree health and encourage proper growth structure, influence flowering or fruit production, and last, but not least, improve aesthetics.

EMERALD ASH BORER TREATMENT

Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has been a significant pest in the Dayton area for quite a few years and has already killed innumerable ash trees in our region. If you have ash trees on your property you have two choices - treat them with a highly effective inoculant or remove them. Without treatment they will die within a couple of years and become a safety hazard and eyesore that reduces your property value.

FERTILIZATION & NUTRITION

Not all trees require fertilization but most in our (sub)urban environment will benefit from proper and timely fertilization. We start with a soil test to determine which nutrients are lacking and then put together a customized fertilization treatment and plan to optimize the health of your trees.

INSECT & DISEASE MANAGEMENT

If you notice holes or spots on tree leaves, dying branches, yellowing leaves, webs throughout the tree or anything else that doesn't look quite "right," chances are that there's a disease or insect pest problem. With proper and timely identification and diagnosis, we can successfully treat most issues affecting your trees and put in place a plan to prevent future problems.

TREE PLANTING

One of the most common reasons why trees in the home landscape die is because they weren't planted properly. Planting too deep, poor preparation of the planting area, lack of water, improper staking and root damage are just some of the problems. To protect your investment (and save your back!), have the professionals at Arbor Experts plant your trees. We'll even help you choose the best ones for your property.

CABLING & BRACING

It's not unusual for trees to develop a weak structure that causes the tree to crack or split apart. This is a condition that can be treated by a cabling and/or bracing system. A brace is a metal rod drilled and bolted through a major crack to hold it together. A cable installed higher in the canopy generally reinforces a brace by holding the compromised branches together.
